Hand-modeled in polyurethane foam and cast using the traditional lost-wax technique, the Ruby Gold Necklace is formed entirely in 18-karat gold. The surface is finished with an oxidation patina that emphasizes its irregular, cratered texture and sculptural depth.
At the center sits a natural ruby, its deep crimson tone set directly into the gold form. The contrast between the raw, porous surface and the polished gemstone creates a focused tension between material weight and refined detail. Each piece is individually finished, resulting in subtle variations in texture and patina.
