“When we made this ring, I worked with folding rather than carving. We heat the silver until it softens, then fold it in on itself, open it, and fold again — letting the metal decide where it wants to move. The crescent form comes from that process, not from forcing a shape. What you see on the surface are traces of pressure, heat, and repetition. I like that it feels light but holds depth, as if the form is still remembering how it was made.”
