"We think of this piece as a skin rather than a surface.
We carved each opening by hand, allowing the metal to break, stretch, and reform like a chrysalis in the moment before it changes. The pavé is not meant to shine uniformly; the stones sit unevenly, caught in the structure as if they grew there.
Nothing here is placed for symmetry. The fragments of diamond follow their own logic, held together by silver that has learned to adapt around them. When it rests on the body, it feels alive, protective, evolving, unfinished in the best way."
